Decent Places: Must-Visit Coffee Spots in South London
For this edition of decent places, we’re showing some love to our friends south of the river. Picking only a couple is tricky, but here are some neighbourhood spots in South London doing coffee right and serving it in decent packaging (ofc).

Lulu’s - SE24
Coffee shop by day, wine bar by night… honestly, what more could you want? Swing by Lulu’s in Herne Hill for a takeaway coffee and don’t be surprised if you leave with a little something extra from their beautifully stocked deli shelves (it’s hard to resist).

Milk Run - SW17
Located in Tooting Bec, Milk Run is the baby sister to the iconic Milk London. Just like the original, they serve up creative, seriously delicious pastries. This site leans more takeaway-focused, making it perfect for grabbing a great coffee on the go.
Next up is Peckham favourite, Nola. This is the spot for anyone into good coffee. They use their own beans in store alongside a rotating line-up of guest roasters for batch brew.
It’s hard to walk past August Bakery in Clapham without popping in. Their ever-changing pastry menu always provides, and with Colonna coffee on bar, you know you’re in very good hands.
