Our Toilet Paper is Tree-Free, but why?
People are increasingly looking for ways to minimise their environmental footprint, whether that’s through the packaging they use, or what they wipe their bum with.
Which is where decent can help.
Our Tree-Free Toilet Paper is exactly that - made from bamboo and sugarcane fibres. A nice change from the traditional toilet paper (made from trees), that’s long been the norm.
And we know you might be thinking… so why is bamboo really better?
Bamboo and sugarcane are two of the fastest-growing plants on Earth. Unlike trees, which can take decades to reach maturity, bamboo and sugarcane can be harvested in just a few years. Highly renewable, and ideal for sustainable toilet paper production.
By using bamboo and sugarcane for our Toilet Paper, we’re helping reduce deforestation - leaving the trees to do their crucial role of absorbing carbon dioxide, and feeding the wildlife that depend on them. Crucial for helping both counteract climate change and protecting our wildlife.
Due to the nature of their natural materials, our bamboo Toilet Paper is easy on the sewage systems and will break down naturally over time.
We don’t use any harmful chemicals or bleaches in any of our products, and that goes for our toilet paper too. Better for you, and better for the environment.
And one last thing? Bamboo and sugarcane fibres produce toilet paper that is both strong, and damn soft. Now that’s a perfect wipe for your behind.
